I've had my toyota serviced here once or twice with good service but I had them check out a 1998 town n country mini van that i inherited to see what it needed. I knew it could use belt, rear shocks and front struts, i told them about a small oil leak and indicator lights on dash (ABS and A/C). about 5 hours and we talk about work that they recommend. At a quote that was almost twice as much as the van was worth i just had them put on new belt and that was it. Picked it up and noticed no tach or speedo??? Indicator lights still on with no reason as to why. They didn't look at oil leak, couldn't even air up 2 low tires. Now i know they put it on a rack cuz when i inspected the undercarriage a 2x4 was stuck to the body. Turns out the oil psi sending is leaking. Sorry Ray a motive i will not be coming back for any future repairs.
Hi Mr. Meade, I've pulled your work order and found you only authorized us to perform a used car inspection and to replace the broken belt. We found your vehicle unsafe to drive and discussed with you the services that were needed to make the car safe, but, we totally understand not wanting to put more money into a car than it is worth. I talked with your service writer and he shared that you had called a few days after picking up your car saying your tach and speedometer weren't working. He said he shared with you that the inspection we did wouldn't have affected the instrument cluster but to bring it back and we would verify if our inspection had caused any damage and if so we would correct it. We are here at your service and wish you the best of luck. Dawn
